If I rent a house, do I have to ask permission to put up a swing set?

Should i ask my landlord to put up a metal swing set. or a patio set?

yes you do…if its put into the ground or attached………..no you don't if its a portable device

You may want to ask just to be on the safe side but there should not be a problem as long as you are not installing anything structurally.

As long as an item is not permanently installed, or against any applicable community regulations (HOA) it's fine.
